Like any annual report, this one has numbers and data.
But numbers don't tell the whole story. 

This year, more people attended a REBOOT course than ever before. Some came to us after devastating experiences and tragedies. Some came to support someone through the worst days of their life. Others came with the goal of healing from past wounds once and for all. 

Each data point represents a life that was changed. So whether you are a leader, donor, graduate or supporter, we are beyond thankful to have you in our corner. On behalf of our Board of Directors and me and Jenny, have a blessed holiday season.

More people overcame trauma through one of our courses this year than ever before!

Our Trauma REBOOT started this year with a bang! We added nearly 100 locations within only 12 months! The response has exceeded our expectations. 

When American troops began to withdraw from Afghanistan, it hit many veterans hard. In addition to our courses filling up fast, we provided suicide prevention care to 375 veterans in crisis. 

Our first responder programs took on a different shape this year as many course participants relied on our MyREBOOT technology platform to join classes on Zoom.

Who Attends? 

• 16.6% of participants were combat veterans, 
• 14.5% of participants were first responders, 
• 9% were support people (spouses, partners, caregivers)
• 49% were people who have experienced other trauma 

First Responder Demographics:

25% LEO, 25% Fire, 27% EMS, 7.5% Dispatch, 6.2% Corrections, 3.5% other medical, 1.8% social services, 3.9% Other

For first responders, the average number of years served as a first responder was 17

Veteran Demographics:
Active Duty 22.5%, Reserve 2.5%, National Guard 3.75%, Veteran 69%

For combat veterans, the average number of months in a combat zone was 19

We are incredibly grateful to all of our donors. Some organizations give until it hurts and display a true heart of generosity. These organizations support us financially and through volunteer engagement. Each of the following organizations has invested more than $25,000 to help hurting military and first responder families.  

I highly recommend REBOOT to anyone with a military or first responder background. As a person who worked in law enforcement for 27 years I had experienced so much hurt. This corse takes you through discovering where your pain began to letting it go. Forgiveness is a huge part of this journey and the leaders, lovingly, take you through each step. REBOOT is life changing. I can not recommend it enough. 12 weeks can change your destiny.
